Ava, Dylan and I enjoyed having Simon home on Thursday. Later that afternoon Ava and I headed off to the Zoo again to try and see the Denver Zoo Lights. This time we left the house at 4:30pm to avoid the crowds and still get Ava back home in time for bed. The sun was almost down just after we arrived so it was perfect timing. I'm so glad we went because the lights were just gorgeous and the weather was perfect for walking around that night.
