Christmas

Sorry our Christmas post is coming to you all so late. We have been very busy and I'm just now getting a chance to sit down at the computer. This is going to be a long one so make sure to scroll through all 5 posts...

Way back on Friday the 19th Shane flew into Denver and stayed with us until Sunday which was great because we had a chance to visit with just her and she was able to spend some time with Ava and Dylan. Then on Sunday, Grampy and Sharona came down to pick up Shane and bring her back to the mountains with Ava and Marley. We all went out for lunch down town that day and then Ava and Marley were so excited to head up to the Mountains with Grampy, Sharona and Aunt Shane. Ava had a lot of fun without mom and dad. They played in all the beautiful snow and Ava felt like a big girl going to a party with Grampy, Sharona and Aunt Shane. Simon, Dylan and I enjoyed a slightly quieter house and it also gave me a chance to finish a few more Christmas errands and we also loved having some time with just Dylan. Tuesday came quickly and then late that afternoon Uncle Sean flew into Denver and Simon, Dylan, Sean and I headed up to the mountains to join the rest of the family. Simon and I were proud of Ava for behaving so well and having fun without us (she always does in the mountains), but we were very excited to see her.
