On Christmas Eve day Simon and Sean went skiing/snowboarding and then Sharona cooked a wonderful Prime Rib dinner, thanks mom. Ava was getting more and more excited for Santa to come visit our house. Ava left out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for his reindeer. Christmas morning arrived and Ava had so much fun! I think we all enjoyed watching Ava really understand Christmas this year. Her baby doll from Santa (Sharona and Grampy) was a hit because the baby cries, burps, sleeps, eats, coos, laughs. Ava enjoyed her baby so much (really she was more worried every time her baby cried and rushed to her aid) that it held her up from opening any more gifts, but once we finally got her to put her baby to sleep she was able to see everything else Santa had brought her and Dylan, and we were all then able to continue with the rest of our Christmas morning. There were so many gifts under the tree for everyone (a lot for Ava) that we had to take a break and refuel with a yummy breakfast. At one point Ava was wearing both her new ballet tutus; it was cute. What a fun day. Dylan just played in his gym, talking/cooing (he's been talking a lot lately) and then eventually took a nap. Both my kids had a great Christmas and were both really good. :)
