Swine flu... we unfortunately ended our vacation with what we think was the swine flu. Yuck. We had such a fun vacation in Lake Powell. Grampy and Sharona worked very hard for us to have a great vacation. Simon enjoyed swimming a lot with Ava, hanging out with Dylan and reading some while I enjoyed getting to water ski a little, play with my kids and just relax. Ava (and Marley) had tons of fun swimming! Dylan had a great time kicking in the sand and splashing in the water, but started throwing up on Friday. By Saturday late afternoon Ava was doing the same and I followed her Saturday evening and by late Saturday night Simon was doing the same. It was not fun to be sick on vacation and we're thankful Sharona had the stomach to help us all while we were all so very sick. We cut our trip short and headed home Sunday morning from what we think was the swine flu. Ava was very upset to leave Lake Powell as she was having so much fun, but it was nice to get home so that we could all rest up and recover. Overall the trip was tons of fun and relaxing... let's just hope we can go for a longer time next summer without getting sick.
