SKAD Family (Simon, Kelly, Ava, Dylan): Halloween Fun and An End To Flag Football and Soccer

Happy Halloween from Ironman and a vampire.

Cathie worked so hard helping me get the house ready and chili cooked for all our neighbors to come over to our place for a chili dinner before trick-or-treating fun.

The older girls found a place away from all the youngsters.

All the young ones gathered out front and filled up on chili before a big night of candy hunting.

We're so lucky to have such wonderful neighborhood friends. These kids have a blast tearing up the neighborhood.

The weather was absolutely perfect for some trick-or-treating fun.

After a late night of Halloween activities and tummies full of candy, we still had to wake up early for the kids last games of the season.

Ava played really strong in her soccer game and had some awesome defensive saves. She is such a smart player.

While Dylan enjoyed playing in his last game against the Steelers. He was so nervous about his last game because both his team, the Broncos, and the Steelers were both undefeated going into the last game.

But, our boys played hard and we came out on top with an overall undefeated season. Dylan was so excited and loved playing football this fall. He scored a total of 6 touchdowns and was extremely good on defense pulling tons of flags.

While we were busy with Halloween festivities, Simon was in Indianapolis running a marathon. Originally the plan was for me to go to Indianapolis to run the marathon as well but, I have not been running enough mileage and also didn't want to miss all the kids Halloween fun so I cancelled my flight and unfortunately, missed cheering Simon on in a really great race. Simon ran a PR in very cold temps along with 18 MPH winds. He managed to pull off an 11 second PR running the marathon in 2:43:39. We're all so happy for Simon that he ran such a great race.
