Coloring Easter eggs: Ava loved coloring Easter Eggs, as usual, and was very delicate and careful with the process as to not crack any eggs. Dylan on the other hand was relieved from his egg coloring experience after about 3 minutes into the activity. I was planning on him getting very messy with colored fingers and all, but once he started splashing, really splashing, in the coloring dishes and trying to eat the hard boiled eggs, with the shell, I realized this was not the task for him. Plus it was his nap time anyway and Ava enjoyed the time alone to concentrate on her beautiful eggs..JPG)
Easter egg hunt: The kids had lots of fun waking up to hidden eggs all around the house..JPG)
Ava was really enjoying the hunt and was so excited that she could hardly stop talking (screaming) and running around..JPG)
Dylan, too, was very excited about finding eggs, but....JPG)
...once he discovered the eggs were full of goodies he then left the hunt part up to Ava while he enjoyed opening the eggs and eating all the candy....JPG)

The kids had a blast opening all their Easter gifts, but it was quite apparent that the $1.00 punch balloons were by far the biggest hit. They loved them..JPG)

...and of course cracking into more eggs by Dylan and eating even more candy. Yes, the little man is eating jelly beans off the ground and loving it.
P.S. You'll notice in all the recent pictures that Dylan has a nice owie on his forehead from running around at the park where he then fell and slid on his head. Ouch.

Lainey's doctor would say that the bump on your head, Dylan, is just a reminder that you are going through all the normal toddler stages! Looks like you guys had fun on your long weekend!
