The joys of summer as it soon comes to an end like...
...sleepovers on week nights!
Baseball and..
...more baseball with...
...Dad!
This girl sure hits the ball far and..
...this kid is getting soooo much better at connecting with a pitched ball (even though in tball he still has to hit off the T) while...
...this guy likes to show the kids how it's done.
Marley gets so confused as to why she can't chew on the kids baseballs but, she's allowed to chew on the tennis balls. Ava of course does her best to teach her.
Dylan reminding Ava to stay hydrated before her 3rd and final triathlon of the summer.
Ready to compete.
Ava started off strong in the pool...
...swimming fast enough that she almost caught the girl how started ahead of her. She then quickly exited the pool and ran hard to...
...her bike where Dad was waiting to help her at the transition point.
Beef jerky break for the boys while we waited for Ava to come back from a pretty hilly and steep bike ride.
She came in fast and quickly dismounted her bike and was then off..
...for her last event, the run. Ava was tired but...
...finished really strong. She came in faster than I've seen her run all summer at track practice.
After... she was pretty tuckered out and said it was really tough and didn't want to race this particular triathlon again. But, even for a tough course Ava did awesome placing 9th overall (88 total racers) for the 7-9 year olds (except we're pretty sure 3 of the kids that beat Ava didn't complete all the necessary laps) and she placed 1st female for 8 year olds. Way to work Ava!
Up next we were off to Dylan's friend, Parker's birthday party for lots of...
...monkey business lots of...
...screams and...
...just good old fun.
