While I was away on my girls weekend in Grand Lake, Simon took his Mom and the kids to Glenwood Springs for the weekend since he had a race to time in Basalt.
They checked out the sights of the cute down town and spent lots of time at the indoor water park at their hotel.
They also made sure to head up to a fun adventure park where they took a...
...beautiful gondola ride up to the...
...top of the adventure park.
There was so much to see and do like the mini roller coasters and exploring the caves ,which the kids had lots many fun stories to share about. There were also thrill rides like the super fast Alpine slides, the very adventures zip-line (that even Dylan was tall enough to ride on too) and Ava's favorite rise by far was...
... the huge swing that went over the canyon. Ava said she screamed so loud she had tears in her eyes.
Such a fun adventure and mini-vacation to Glenwood Springs for the fam. I was so very sad to have missed the fun but, I was also so happy they had such a great time together.
As always, Omi's 10 day visit went by way too fast. We just love when she's here.
Rounding out the week with a double header Tball game for Dylan and...
... Ava was excited to step in and help coach at 2nd base. Sharona also came down to visit, watch Dylan's tball games and stay with the kids while...
... Simon and I headed out to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary at our favorite restaurant the...
...Melting Pot in downtown Littleton. We purposely only go to this delicious and fancy restaurant once a year on our anniversary so that we very much look forward to this night out. Such a fun place.
And since Sharona was staying over and we didn't have to get back to a sitter we made sure to have...
...a full night of fun. Happy 10 years!
