Holiday Fun!

I'm a little behind with the last couple weekends of posting, but in between many house projects we've also been making sure to fit in some festive holiday activities. Two weekends ago we headed out with friends to visit with Santa.

We made sure to get a picture with Black and Decker who did a great job pulling the sleigh.

Two weeks ago we had three good snow storms and the temperature was pretty chilly for CO so Simon was excited to test out his new toy.
Ava of course still loves jumping on her trampoline with all the snow, but we'll for sure be taking the tramp. down soon for the remainder of winter.
Simon got his workout in by pulling the kids up the hill numerous times.

fire!Lots of sledding and snow time fun!While it was very chilly outside two weekends ago it seemed like the perfect time to spend the day inside putting up our tree. The kids did such a great job with the ornaments... even with fragile ones. No broken ornaments so far this year and they worked hard trying to space out all the ornaments.

Last week the weather started to warm up and by this weekend we warmed up to the 40's and 50's, which felt great. It was finally warm enough for us to put up our outdoor Christmas lights.
On Saturday we headed to Disney on Ice Toy Story 3 and... check out our awesome seats! Simon's buddy got us tickets to the show, but we had no idea we'd be sitting in our own suite. It was perfect because the kids were able to get up and down and talk and be squirmy and we didn't have to worry about bothering anyone. Overall the kids sat through the show better than we expected, but the suite was still great and the kids received a fun goody bag after the show too. Thanks Nic for the fun day!
Yay! Dylan actually enjoyed the show and wasn't even scared.
The kids were standing up to see the show and still not bugging anyone around us. It was great.
We all voted the martian scene as our favorite.
Last, but not least a big cheers to our first Colorado Race Timing employee holiday party. Simon and I had a great time hosting a fun Feliz Navidad celebrating for all the hard work Simon's employee's did this year. Nice work guys!
