Out of all the sports and activities Ava has played unfortunately, basketball has not been Ava's favorite (swimming, gymnastics and skiing are by far her favorites) but, we're really, really proud of Ava for improving so much from her first game through her last of 8 total games. At 5 and 1/2 Ava was the youngest on her team of many 6 and 7 year old 1st graders. She learned a lot and always had fun during Tuesday practice but, games seemed to be a little different story. By the last couple of games Ava was finally starting to have a lot more fun which is the most important.

The rest of Saturday was spent running errands, getting outside chores done, laundry, cleaning house and getting ready for the Ward family to come over for dinner. So by Sunday the kids were excited to have a day of their choice. They of course chose the Children's Museum.

Our old house was 5 minutes from the Children's Museum so we use to go there often. Now that we live farther south the kids have really missed going there. A long break from the last time we were at the museum really made for a fun time on Sunday because the kids made the most of their time playing in all their favorite rooms.

We ended the day at the museum playing outside at the park and swinging on the tire swing before having a late picnic lunch and eating yummy chocolate cake. What a perfect day!
