March 1st Ava was able to meet Tiffany Bias who is a WNBA player for the Phoenix Mercury. Tiffany was helping out at a basketball clinic that Ava attended so it was pretty fun for Ava to not only meet her but, to get some great tips from her and watch her play some hoops too.
March 6th the kids and I took advantage of having school off and headed to the mountains for some fantastic skiing on a Friday. We felt like we had the mountains to ourselves and I just love my two favorite ski buddies.
Time to celebrate Simon's March 11th birthday.

Simon and I also had the chance to head out a separate night to celebrate Simon's birthday with our good friends Haley, Tristan, Eric and Renee.
One last celebration of Simon's birthday in the mountains with family while the DeBourcy family was in town for some spring skiing.
We love this time of the year when my sister and her family come to town during their spring break to do lots of skiing, spend time with family and this year...
...this kids got in a ton of sledding time too.

...it's back to bathing suite warm weather just a few days later.
That's why we love Colorado weather. It's gorgeous either way... snow or sunshine, we love it all.
March ended with some unfortunate news about Simon's grandmother passing away.
The kids and I were not able to head out of town with Simon on such short notice and with the kids not being able to miss school but, fortunately Simon was able to fly to Illinois for a really quick visit in between work races and he was so thankful to see so much of his family.
