We always love celebrating Sharona's January birthday and we were so happy for this birthday that Grampy and Sharona were able to come down to watch basketball games and then celebrate with Sharona.

Heading into a fabulous February, the kids and I were able to enjoy a fabulous day of skiing.
On this gorgeous ski day not only were we able to enjoy some fast turns with both Sharona and Grampy but, we were also able to explore and see some of the magnificent sites of the World Ski Championships. In the picture above you can see the base of the downhill course located at the bottom of Birds of Prey in Beaver Creek.

We continued to fill up February with lots of great basketball and...
...a not so great fall. On Valentines Day my little valentine's face caught his fall on the sidewalk for his worst crash yet. Dylan was racing his favorite wiggle wagon toy with his best buddy Gunner, and after their race they were running and pushing their wagons back up the street. With Dylan's hands being on the back of the wagon car while pushing it, when he then tripped he unfortunately, didn't have his hands to catch his fall and instead his face hit the sidewalk.
Day two looked worse than day one but, Dylan miraculously healed very quickly.
This winter we have been lucky to have lots of snow and although it was a cold day the kids were full of...
...warm energy and laughs with their favorite neighbor friends, the Sorrel family.
So much laughter even with cold, red cheeks.
One more run and then it was time for nothing other than hot chocolate.
A fun Girl Scout event for the girls to get to practice makeup on each other after some fantastic lessons from a theatre makeup artist. They did great and they were all so engaged for the entire hour.
Can't get enough of great basketball playing.

This was a pre-girl scout event photo but, there was definitely no post-girl scout event photo taken. My very puffy eyes had the biggest bags I've ever had after sleeping on a hard floor, with the lights on all night and the girls having stayed up until 4 and then up again 6. It was exhausting but, really a ton of fun for the girls. They just loved it, so that meant I loved it too.
The night kicked off with cheering on the Denver Nuggets.
The girls did a great job cheering them on even though the Nuggets lots and then...
...after the game was over, and the stadium had cleared, all 200 girl scouts that were there for the Pajama Jam, were then able to shoot some hoops on the Nuggets game court and then...
...it was a night filled with lots of girl-talk, running around and watching a movie on the jumbo tron.
Finally, it was time for lights out, or not, as Christy, the girls and I found our spot in the hallway of the Pepsi Center. I hope it was a spectacular night the girls will forever remember.
