This weekend Ava had #2 of her 3 total triathlons for the summer and had another strong performance.

 While she was sizing up the competition and...

 ...making sure to stay relaxed before her race ;) Dylan on the other hand was...

 ...so intrigued by the very fast batting cage and wishing he was old enough to jump in and take a swing or two.

 Soon enough, Ava was off on her race but, this time she had to swim two lengths of the pool and then she was...

...off on her way to bike 1.8 miles while Dylan was...

 ...close behind cheering her on.

 Last event was a half mile race and on her last lap...

 ...Ava had some great competition in the end which helped her finish very strong and...

...even though it appears #26 beat Ava, we quickly learned that he only ran one lap and was DQ'ed Overall, Ava had so much fun again and really seems to be enjoying this sport. She placed 2nd overall for the girls in the 7-9 year olds and can't wait for he last race for the summer.

 And look who also got a popsicle after the race even though he didn't compete (although he can't wait until he turns 5 so that he can race next year too). Thanks Ava for always thinking of your little brother.

 Yay... up next it was a fun bowling birthday party for Dylan on Sunday and because Simon didn't have any races to time it was a fun day for the three of us to all tag along for a day of bowling.

 The boys had a blast getting to throw heavy balls around without getting in trouble while Ava...

 ...was right there to give some helpful pointers too.

 Simon and I enjoyed getting to bowl with Ava in the next lane over and look who seems to have her mom's lovely ballerina leg form when bowling. Bowling is not our sport but, we sure had a blast and Dylan...

 ...loved getting to celebrate Axel's birthday.

 Finishing up the weekend with sprinkler fun was a must and...

 ...of course there's nothing more fun than jumping and...

...laying on the trampoline with the sprinkler too. Yay for summer!
