Basketball and Snow

 Last game for basketball season #2 for Dylan.

 He loves to score baskets every game but, is great on defense too.

 One last big winter storm that...

 ...was so fun for the kids to play in but, unfortunately caused a change in our big plans for Simon's birthday celebration.

Happy 35th Birthday to Simon and...

...even though the party didn't turn out as planned (because of all the snow) we still had so very much fun celebrating with the Hensley family.

Up next it was time to head to the mountains to spend time with family.

 Ava was tired from a great day of skiing so she took a quick cat nap on chair ride up before...

...we headed down for the best run of the year. Ava and I were the last ones on before they closed the lift for the day so we had the mountain almost to ourselves. Such a great memory with my Ava as we zoomed down as fast as we could with no one in our way.

 Another birthday celebration for Simon with the family.

So fun for the cousins to get some play time in together. So happy to spend time with my sister and her family.

For St. Patrick's day we headed up to the mountains for one last ski day of the year.

Ava sure is looking awesome on skies theses days. We're all impressed with how well she's skiing.

 While Dylan might be our speed racer he also has his moments of trying to follow in Grampy's (and Ava's) foot steps with trying to learn a thing or two about technique. We're trying to teach Dylan that it's not all about speed.

 We had some great moments of sunshine between the snow and high winds but, overall it was a fantastic day together.
