It's hard to believe January 2013 is almost over. We kicked off the month with a wonderful trip to Mexico and spent the rest of the month staying busy with all the kids fun events like...
...Ava closing in on the last few games of her basketball season and...
...Dylan heading to JumpStreet for...
...his buddy's birthday party.
Dylan was nice enough to bring his sister and her friend along for the fun too.
Then it was back to JumpStreet again for another-one of Dylan's friend's birthday party and yep...
...Dylan was cool with his big sister coming along for this party too.
Ava had a great game this past weekend and she's pretty sad the season will be over after next Friday's game.
After Dylan's basketball practice on Saturday morning and after picking up a truck load of Ava's Girl Scout cookies, the kids and I then headed to the mountains. Simon has been horribly, horribly sick for more than two plus weeks with the flu so we unfortunately had to leave him behind at home while we decided to get away for a little ski trip.
Sharona always has fun projects for the kids when we come visit like baking cute heart pies.
We woke up to a gorgeous day of skiing. It snowed the night before which made for some awesome, fresh snow but, it was also surprisingly so warm out too.
This little guy hung in for 8 full ski runs. That's awesome for a 4 year old!
It was such a fun day and of course we enjoyed a little fire time at the Ritz-Carlton for lunch too.
After some very cold winter days, with not much snow, and then a nice sunny warm-up for a couple days with again, not much snow, it was then very fun for the kids when we finally got a little snow over the past two nights.
Dylan's such a hard little worker who loves the snow and just keeps playing and playing in it even when it's dark and cold out.
Dylan and Marley sure had a fun day together after Dylan brought Marley to preschool for his bring-your-pet to school day. He loved sharing Marley with all his classmates and then later getting to come home from school and playing with Marley for hours in the snow even into the dark of the night. Good thing Dylan had his snow-pal, Marley to play with in the snow while his other snow-pal, Ava, was at basketball practice.
