The past two weekends have been super fun! Last weekend Simon didn't have any races to time so we took advantage of an open weekend and enjoyed having friends over. Little Hannah (only one year old) who's not in the picture did an awesome job hanging with the six older kids. In fact, all the kids played so well together which allowed the adults to enjoy some great conversation too.
The following Wednesday was Ava's kindergarten graduation. We can't believe Ava's first year of elementary school is already over.
The kindergartner's worked very hard on their program and it definitely paid off as they all did great. Their graduation ceremony was adorable, but unfortunately the video was way too long to load on blogger for all to see.
Congratulations Ava! We're so proud of you.

Along with Ava growing up, our little Dylan is growing up too. He has moved to a new daycare which we're very excited about. Before Dylan could move to his new daycare he had to be 100% potty trained even for nap time, because they have an on site pool. Dylan has been doing awesome with potty training, but the #2's and nap time were taking a little longer to conquer. As of a few weeks ago Dylan has been pull-up free during nap time and thus he has moved to his new daycare. Great job buddy!
This past Friday was Ava's last day of kindergarten and I was able to join them for their adventurous bubble walk around the school.
Yay! Lots of bubbles and it's warm and sunny out too. We've had lots of rain, but the sun was out and shining for the kids to take their bubble walk.
Later a group of Ava's friends headed to Jump Street for some fun on their last day after school.
I picked up Dylan early from daycare so he could join in on the fun at Jump Street with the big kids.
They all had a blast!
On Saturday we were outside from 7 am until 2 pm with lots of racing and warm sun. The kids enjoyed playing while I ran in a race that Simon was timing.
After the race was over we then headed downtown for another race with a Blues Fest to follow that started at noon which Simon then ran in. It was a perfect day for back-to-back racing and the kids had so much fun with all the kids activities like balloon animals, face painting and fresh squeezed lemonade.
Sunday was another gorgeous day for being outside and taking a bike ride.
Dylan did his best to keep up with his big sister while Ava was so thoughtful by making sure to stop for her little brother to catch up. We're so lucky they're the best of buds.

Can't believe that Ava is getting so grown up! And it is so nice that she is so nice to her brother...need her to teach Mallory to be nicer to her brother! Hope the racing went well!
Holy cow!!! I can't believe Ava is done with school already. That year sure went fast. And, Mr. Dylan...you are for sure getting toooooo old...no pull ups at naptime and a two-wheeler!! I can't take it! :)
