Christmas 2015

The DeBourcy family came to Colorado for Christmas. 

Shane, Sean, Riley, Fin, Sharon, and Grampy went on a nice hike and had some great family time before Ava and Dylan arrived. Tuesday morning, Shane and Grampy met Simon and the kids in Georgetown to pick them up and take them back up to the mountains before Simon, Cathie and I arrived Wednesday evening.

The four cousins had a great time playing together, going sledding, going for a walk, play trains and dolls, and going to the recreation center.

 Grampy and Sharona had a great idea for the kids to count all of Grampy's pocket change. Lot's of change that the grandkids got to split up between the 4 of them. Thanks Grampy and Sharona.

 ...cold but, beautiful ski day. It's always a chore to get out the door on the slopes but, very much worth the work.

 It was a cold day but, the kids were all in great spirits, happy and having fun but, we did come in for a warm up by the fire.

 After a few more runs it was lunch time in the sun.

What a fun day on the slopes with the whole family on Christmas Eve. Cathie was with us too but, didn't go skiing and had a great afternoon at the Stenson lodge.

...playing with new toys. We had a wonderful Christmas with the DeBourcy family and Grampy and Sharona but, not it was time to head back to dinner as we still had some wrapping to get done before the big day.

Everything is wrapped and all is quite and peaceful on Christmas Eve.

The kids slept in until 8:3 AM after a late drive home from the mountains so that was nice.

 Time to unwrap the presents. 

 Someone was excited about his huge Hot Wheels garage village. 

 They loved their new webbed chairs too.

 Marley was so cute. She was right in on all the action and inspecting what her buddy was up to.

After a fun morning we had a wonderful big breakfast and then an even bigger Christmas dinner with the four of us and Cathie. It was a perfect day of relaxing and spending time together and sharing laughs.

 The next day we went to count Grampy's change...
