Nearly Perfect Weekend and Happy 7th!

Seven years ago today Simon and I tied the knot! We celebrated by going out for breakfast at our favorite restaurant. Yum Yum!

Our weekend felt almost perfect. Which means that it didn't feel hectic and crazy busy. We started Saturday morning off with Simon timing a race that went really well and it was fun for Simon because he timed the race at Invesco Field (where the Bronco's play). The kids and I had a perfect morning relaxing, playing and going to Whole Foods to get ready for our friends to come over.

Simon made it home in time for me to make it to the 2nd half of my girlfriends baby shower. I was afraid I was going to miss it all, but the timing worked out perfect and it was a great way for me to get away for a little, while Dylan napped and Ava spent time with just her dad. ...cute baby Hannah who came down to visit us in the new house and have dinner.

Thanks guys for coming down to see us. We sure missing seeing all of you.

The evening was perfect for sitting outside, eating dessert and watching the dad's play a game or two of horse.

Sunday morning the family headed to Wash. Park where I ran in a race and Ava also ran in the kids race. The kids of course thought the morning ended perfect with jumpy castles and taking a ride on the kids train.

The weekend was nearly perfect... even the house is clean and the laundry is washed, folded and 90% put away. :)
